The story line begins with Obi- Wan and Anakin in a space battle, on a mission to save Chancellor Palpatine who was being held prisoner by Count Dooku. Both Jedi’s engage in duel battle with Count Dooku which ends with Anakin killing Dooku by the orders of Palpatine. This is where you start noticing Anakin’s transformation to the dark side, his facial expression become filled with rage. Soon after Palatines rescue, Anakin reunites with his beloved wife Padme Amidala who is the senator in the galactic senate. She announces to him that she is pregnant and you can see the excitement he feels. He then starts having premonitions of his beloved wife dying at childbirth which starts his fear of losing his only family left. There’s a scene in the story where Anakin is having a conversation with the Yoda the Jedi Council’s wise old leader. Anakin tells Yoda about his premonition his being having and then Yoda tells him, “Fear of loss is a path to the dark side.” After being rescued Palpatine appoints Anakin to join the Jedi council as his representative, but the council rejects his position of being a Jedi Master. You can tell the disappointment Anakin feels by his expression and what he states after. “How can you be in the council and not be a Master.” The council orders Anakin to spy on Chancellor to which he expresses that’s it’s against the Jedi code which brings anger. Here we see another sign of him changing as he feels he is betraying someone who has looked after him. He also expresses his frustration against the council. Anakin has another premonition and his concern for his family grows as he fears for the worst .Palpatine senses Anakin’s fears and uses his weakness to introduce him to the power of the dark side. Palpatine then reveals to Anakin that he is the Sith Lord and manipulates the situation Anakin is going through with his premonitions and the rejection of the Jedi council. Anakin reports to Mace Windu that Palpatine is the Sith Lord, but there is some doubt in Mace Windu of what Anakin just revealed to him because he states, “ If what you told me is true then you will regain my trust.” As Anakin wants to help Mace to arrest Palpatine he receives another rejection of distrust. Mace goes off to arrest Palpatine alone which turns into a duel battle. Anakin disobeys his order and goes after Palpatine upon his arrival he sees them in the duel. Palpatine is avoiding his arrest and he is weakening by the force he used against Mace. In attempt to stop the duel Palpatine uses his weakness and manipulates Anakin to killing Mace. If you observe closely in Anakin’s eyes you can see he is filled with anger and pledges his loyalty to Darth Sidious. Palpatine orders the clone troopers and Anakin to kill their Jedi commanders. In the movie there’s a scene where you could see Anakin has turned evil as he eliminates the young Jedi’s without having any mercy knowing their just children. With only two Jedi survivors Yoda and Obi-Wan, they soon discover Anakin’s treachery and return to the Jedi Temple to confront him. By this time Padme has being made aware that Anakin has turned to the dark side, but is in denial of such thing and travels to Mustafar to confront her husband. Anakin filled with so much darkness accuses Padme of betrayal when he sees Obi-Wan and chokes her until she becomes unconscious. Obi- Wan and Anakin engage in a duel ending in Anakin losing his legs and being severely burned by the lava. Obi- Wan returns with Padme to Polis Massa where she’s gives birth to twins and dies at childbirth. While this is happening Anakin survived and was rescued by Palatine and taken back to Coruscant to have his body repaired. This is where Anakin’s transition to the dark side is complete as he is forth known as Darth Vader, he awakes and receives the news that Padme has died and that he was the one that caused her death.  Yoda and Obi-Wan agree to keep the twins safe from the empire and separate them at birth.
